The Reading Room overlooks Dealey Plaza and provides a reflective environment for those seeking information and understanding about President John F. Kennedy’s assassination and legacy. Researchers can access more than 4,000 books, magazines, newspapers and videos in the Museum’s library and many of the 35,000 items in the permanent collections.
We cover various topics including President Kennedy’s life and legacy, conspiracy theories and major events and culture of the 1960’s, including civil rights, Cuban Missile Crisis, Vietnam War, space exploration, Peace Corps and more.
